Reapers do missions for the different factions on Marova. We built an AI called Cerberus that creates missions for players that are designed to put them directly into contact with each other. For example a mission from the Rogue Command faction may require the assassination of a High Value Target. It may give that mission to one person or group of players and a counter-mission to defend that very same HVT to another person or group. Our goal is to get people into PVP situations. We take that to extremes at times when Cerberus offers a number of missions to different players in one area with the explicit goal of getting big fights We're very fond of. We also let solo players take missions away from a lot of players if they prefer to have a chill.
Will there be vehicles?:
Will there be cross-play:
There will be cross-play. However, you will not be able to save across servers. In short: We have cross-play, but not cross-progression or cross-sales.

🌐 PERSISTENCE & SERVERS
Is Reaper Actual a live service game?:
Yes — but with a focus on community agency. The world persists, and players shape it through actions, factions, and the economy.
Can I run my own server?:
Yes. Players will be able to rent servers from us, and build their own communities, including the ability to mod the game.
Will I be able to mod the game?:
Yes, once we have finished building out the core game experience our plans are to give the players the ability to mod the game rules and most aspects of the core gameplay experience provided that the base server infrastructure remains similar. What that means for example is players could build a Battle Royale game on top of Marova or really any kind of game mode provided it uses the same base server system. They could also for example swap a building in downtown Alaria with 'Alaria Plaza' say.. Around Christmas time and have players go into an instanced game mode that pits players against terrorists. We want to support a lot of cool mods. This won't be instantaneous and will come over time but our goals here are big just like our game.
What do you plan to sell?:
We have a very simple approach to monetization. We're going to offer different levels of starter packs that include a Base and a set number of reapers. We intend to offer very low end versions of the game and ones that cost more. We're also going to be selling additional Reapers and Bases. In addition we will of course sell a variety of weapon skins and other non-game impacting items as well as doing a Battle Pass that comes with a variety of different things similar to other similar games. Very importantly players will be able to earn all of these things just by playing the game. To put this as simply as possible - we're in business to make an awesome game for players and to do that we need to be making money. We're excited to build a better and better game over time, but we need the continued support of our players.
💥 WEB3 & MARKETPLACE
Does Reaper Actual have Web3 Elements?:
On Steam and Epic Game Store NO crypto elements are present whatsoever. It's not even an option. On Reaperactual.com we will ship a version of the game that does support the ability for players to buy and sell things they obtain in game. Most importantly we're also letting players make the same kinds of things we make and (after review) sell them to each other. We liken the way we're doing it to what Steam Community Marketplace offers and in fact on Steam our plan is to support Steam Community Marketplace. All players will be able to interact with each other and play with each other. We aren't going to allow anything sold to give one player an advantage over another player. It's still a skill based FPS. Also, there aren't going to be any ways to move items between players who play on Steam or Epic and the players on ReaperActual.com.
Why have any crypto elements?:
We really believe in the idea of an ecosystem that exists outside the game. Web3 is an awesome way for people to participate in the economy of the game in cool ways. There won't be any scammy elements to our web3. That's not what we're about. We also plan to offer these same elements via the Steam Community Market. We're giving players a simple way to decide which version to play. Don't want to see any crypto elements at all? Cool. You don't have to.. Play on Epic or Steam where they don't exist. We think long term when players see the approach we're taking, the current issues people have with playing games with crypto elements will largely go away if we do it right.
Are we going to do a token?:
Yes. We plan to have it at the time of launch, but again it's only for players that want to play on Reaperactual.com.
Who is our partner for the Web3 elements of the game?:
