When minting during Alpha, all stored items will be lost - a warning pops up beforehand, to tell you exactly what's going to happen:
- For a Base, you must empty the vault of all the items you have collected, because the vault is cleared during the minting process. The buyer will get only default contents of the base when they take it into game.
- For a Reaper, you must empty your inventory of all the loot you've accumulated, because they is cleared out during minting. The buyer will get the default basic loadout for the Reaper when they first take it into game.
Dev is working on a long-term solution, please watch for update notes as the game evolves.
(One workaround at the moment is that if you're selling just a base, empty the vault and give the items to an active Reaper. If selling a Reaper, you can put all their stuff in an active base vault before selling the character.)
